The Queen’s court

She closed her eyes, laying her head on the bed of her own, eyes closed dimly. She had her hand on the head of a man, seeming to smile as he relaxed while she petted him, occasionally scratching him behind the ear. Another man stood over her, holding grapes to her mouth, placing them in one at a time, as she'd eat them gracefully, taking her time. A man seemed to lean over the couch, petting her softly as she smiled again, letting out a sigh of relaxation. She was content as another woman leaned over, whispering the sweet nothings she so desired in her ear, massaging her legs to help her relax.

The doors opened, and three people danced in. One with brown hair and violet eyes, another with long green hair and crimson eyes, the third with orange hair and green eyes. The three wore jester’s costumes, and seemed to just try to amuse the woman. She smiled, and laughed with her court. She had her rook, knight, and bishop, and she had so many pawns at her disposal. She needed no king. This was her heaven. They continued to dance, and she fiddled with a wooden cross that had strings hanging from it, watching as everyone just pampered her, and only her. Nothing else mattered.
