Chapter 3: Frame

The sun would have been at its highest point that day if the rain had ever stopped. It had started, and Indigo just stared down the alleyway, blood still bathed in the area. She let out a sigh, and turned to walk away, gray eyes filled with hate.

“It won’t happen again…I’ve caused this twice.” She stared at the sky, hands at her chest, “I can’t let this happen again…”

She stared at the sky, “I’ll never let it happen again, not on my life.”

The room had gradually filled with more people as the day had progressed, though Setsuna was the only one speaking, though she was apparently finished. A short black haired female with purple eyes, Hotaru, raised her voice first.

“So what you’re saying is that those are the Jupiter Satellite Senshi?” She asked, glancing to a brown haired brown-eyed girl who was burying her face in a man with brown-blonde hair, Haak, who had his arms wrapped around her.

“Sort of, Hotaru,” Setsuna was about to continue when the brown haired girl, Euri, raised her voice.

“In the time of the Revolution, there were thirty nine satellite senshi for Jupiter, one for every moon. When a senshi is killed by another senshi, though, she cannot be reincarnated. So there are only four right now.”

Setsuna nodded, “The thirty-five or so that died in the revolution are in that liquid, along with the blood of Callisto and Ganymede, who were murdered last night. Both had their heads cut off.”

The room grew grim, but no one spoke, until a green haired boy with green eyes, Furu, raised his voice, “So, who killed them?”

Setsuna shook her head, “I don’t know. But what I do know is that they’ll want to go after Io and Europa next.”

“It could be a senshi, herself,” A brown haired man leaned back, Solarchos, his blue eyes looking around, petting the catgirl in his arms, “Io seemed to abuse Euri when she came here, what wouldn’t give her the excuse to abuse the others?”

“Solar, Io is their better,” Mango spoke, “Why would she kill someone?”

“Pure hate?” He said, “She’s always seemed hateful to me.”

“Brilliant conclusion, Solar. You must know her very well,” Shinji said sarcastically, arms crossed. Solar looked at him.

“It’s possible,” Solar argued, and the catgirl he was petting, seemed to shift.

“Why would someone want to do that, anyway?” The catgirl, Shaldra, muttered, and Solar began to pet her behind the ears, listening to her purr softly. Minako pouted, yet the female next to her, whom was also a blonde, but her hair was much shorter, and she had a rather masculine appearance to her, Haruka, grunted a bit.

“Hell, they’re micro senshi, they’re annoying, but I wouldn’t want to kill them,” She said, and the brown haired girl continued to shake, while the man holding her seemed to offer comforting words for her.

“Whatever they want, that’s probably it. Nuff said, it’s probably Io being a bitch, and wanting to get rid of all the nuisances,” Solar grunted, sitting up, “I vote we just kill her off and that’s that.”

The door opened, and the raven haired ‘bitch’ as Solar had just said, walked right past everyone, her gray eyes looking ahead as she headed for the kitchen.

“Indigo,” Solar raised his voice first, “Did you kill them?”

Indigo stopped, hand on the side of the door for a few moments, and she seemed to stare out at the kitchen in all its battery, her eyes reflecting nothing.

“No.” She said simply, and continued walking, “Go back to your petting party with your catgirl.”

She then slammed the door of the kitchen, and all was silent.

“Moh, any love-love high she had is gone,” Minako commented, and then looked to Shinji, “When is the real Shinji coming back from playing with the Eva girls?”

Makoto stared out the window of the house, slowly standing, “Oi, Kevin-koi, I’m going out.”

“Don’t get yourself near Chibiusa!” He called, but she rolled her eyes.

“I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that,” She muttered, opening the closet to take her green umbrella, and walked out the door, walking down the street, smiling.

            “I wonder how Minako-chan is doing…”
